Winzerwald Winery (German for “vintner of the forest”) is owned by Dan and Donna Adams, and is located on 85 acres of rolling lands in the Hoosier National Forest along Interstate 64 in Perry County.
The winery celebrates Dan and Donna’s German heritage and the German heritage of the area by offering unique German inspired wines, gifts, festivals, and food. Enjoy Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Blaufränkisch, Maiwein, Grüner Veltliner, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blueberry, Peach, and a host of signature spiced wines such as Baked Apple and Cranberry Gluhwein.
Mr. and Mrs. Adams each have certificates from Purdue University in both viticulture and enology. Dan Adams previously worked for Wollersheim winery, the largest winery in Wisconsin. The winery serves top-quality German inspired wines and offers a relaxing & educational experience in a beautiful vineyard, winery, and restaurant atop a ridge in the Hoosier National Forest.
