Huber’s has been continuously owned, farmed, and operated by members of the Huber family for over 180 years. Founded in 1843 by Simon Huber, what began as a humble 80 acres farm has grown to almost 700 acres and is currently owned and operated by 6th generation Huber’s (and first cousins) Ted and Greg Huber.
They tend the oldest and largest estate grown vineyard in Indiana and have upwards of 40 wines in their catalogue.
In addition to the winery, they operate Starlight Distillery. Like their wines, the spirits they produce are a true farm-to-bottle product – they grow over 70% of the grains that they use to make bourbon, rye whiskey, gin, vodka, and more.
Huber Winery also operates a seasonal U-pick program (from strawberries in May through pumpkins in October), have a Christmas Tree Farm, a Family Farm Park, Farm Market, Bakery, Coffee Bar, Cafe, and private event space (where they can host up to 2000 guests).
Huber Winery is one of the most visited tourism destinations in Indiana.
